The articles we read were about social networks how young adults or teens put all

their information and they don’t know who can be seeing them. Facebook is the most

popular social network at the moment the first popular social network too me was

Myspace it offered the same thing every social network does sending message , chating

with your friends, seeing your friends pictures ,creating your own website. But this young

man studing at Harvard university came up with the idea “the facebook” . Its said that

that the Winklevoss brothers came to Mark Zuckerberg with the idea of the Harvard

connection a website that lets students from Harvard have the own website like Myspace

or Friendster but mark had a better idea.


A social network that was even better than any other network so he started

creating facebook or known back then the facebook. Mark needed some money and he

asked he friend Eduardo he told him all about the website and he was going to make him

CFO of the company. Going back to the point of this essay is that a lot of people but their

information and don’t even know whose looking at your profile it could be anyone. The

point about facebook is a social network to talk to people or to met new people but its not

to put all your information out there. If you comment a crime the detectives they will look

at all your websites myspace twitter and especially your facebook people put more

information about them selves in facebook than anywhere else and the website asks you

for a lot of information name, date of birth email address I ask myself why do they need all

this information but me cant it be just your name and email.


It makes me wonder if they government is behind all of this their just checking up on

everyone but why would they taste their time to see everyone’s facebook accounts. Maybe

its because they need all this information to make the site better but I doubt it. Facebook is

now worth over 25 billion I was shock when I first read it in the Forbes website in

December. How can a website in 8 years valued over that much money the public these

days just goes along with anything that comes up over 150 million people are login into

Facebook all over the world. What’s cool about facebook is that its coming out with new

things every year and its much faster than myspace or any other website there is.

Young adults or teens don’t know that a stocker or a anyone with a sick mind can be

following them on facebook that’s why don’t post on your wall what your doing or where

your going to go. A women got robbed because she posted on your wall that she would be

going out when she came back home most of her stuff was gone that’s what she gets for

being stupid. All this, is the same as creating your avatar a graphical image that

represents a person, as on the Internet. Some video games take that to a extreme level

letting you create your own house, career, character basically any and everything you can

image. The internet is virtual chat web you can met anyone in it .


That’s how boys and girls get in trouble with all the sexual predators out in the

Internet. I believe that’s all the games like that’s should be banned from little immature

kids or teens because you have no idea who is out there. it’s the same as Facebook its all

a game that we play on the internet because how do you know if a person is watching very

post everything you or your friends post on your wall. I have a Facebok account and I

know all the risks that where is but I never put where I’m at or who I’m talking to. A lot

of young teens than me have one and they put the most stupidest things on their status I

don’t get how they put that because people know where they are and can rob their house

or steal something or even steal your ID numbers.

An avatar is your second life you created but it requires information from your real life

and if you put that information out there everyone will steal your Indention. My advice to

everyone who has a face book or avatar is to keep it a secret. Don’t put your information

out there, there’s crazy people out there that do very bad things.
